Free Summer Workshop

An introductory course in the fundamentals of graphic design, and exploration of opportunities in the field. Students will become familiar with digital tools and terminology, basic typography, and concept sketching. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are two of the most popular and powerful graphic design applications on the market today and a requirement for anyone serious about a career in the design field.

This intensive 10-week (3 unit) course will familiarize students with the fundamentals needed to begin to create their own artwork and projects. This is a perfect introductory course both for students planning on pursuing a degree in design as well as anyone inspired to learn how to design on the computer. Students learn though a combination of lectures, hands-on training and by doing real-life design projects!
